Sacred music concert at the opera house

The Tempora Artis association is delighted to invite you to a grand concert of sacred and lyrical music performed by Maestro Andrei Chevtchouk and his young pupil Tatiana Derache, for voice and piano/organ.
The programme will take you on a musical journey, from the most contemplative pieces of sacred music to the great opera arias, bringing together works by Vivaldi (Nisi Dominus), Franck (Panis Angelicus), Caccini (Ave Maria), two preludes by Chopin, as well as excerpts from Handel (Rinaldo), Mozart (The Marriage of Figaro), Bizet (Carmen), Rimsky-Korsakov (Sadko), Massenet (Werther), Delibes (Lakmé), Monteverdi and Offenbach (The Tales of Hoffmann).
Alternating between moments of inner prayer, romantic lyricism and bursts of musical theatre, this programme will highlight the richness of the European spiritual and operatic tradition.
Conductor, choir director, vocal coach, accompanist and composer, Maestro Andrei Chevtchouk will bring his experience and profound knowledge of sacred and lyrical repertoires to this demanding and inspiring journey.
Alongside him, Tatiana Derache will bring the freshness of her voice to an artistic and educational dialogue that will give this concert a particularly human touch.
This concert is organised by the Tempora Artis association, in collaboration with the Parish of Saint François de Sales Val Vanoise and the Bozel Valley Tourist Office.
