Presentation

Nice view at the top with 360° to the Mont Blanc, the Vanoise and the Ecrins
Itinerary: Take the truck road for few meters, and a path through the forest, you will cross la Balme (mountain pasture). The trail keep goes to the forest to arrive on dirt road which goes to the Mont Jovet. You will cross then the Parchit pass and across many alpine pastures.

Interest :
You will have a nice view at the top with 360° to the Mont Blanc, the Vanoise Massive and the Ecrins.

Don’t forget to drink to eat and have a break.

Equipment
Equip yourself with good shoes and clothes well suited for mountains.

Topos pas à pasDeparture: La Thuile de Montagny
1/ Take the road for a few hundred metres, then follow the path through the woods to cross La Balme.
2/ The path continues through the forest and then joins the road (which climbs to Mont Jovet). Follow this road for a few hundred metres before arriving at Col du Parchit.
3/ You will pass through various alpine villages (Chalet de Prariond and Les Gouilles).
4/ You will first arrive at the Mont Jovet refuge, then at the summit of Mont Jovet.
Alerte visiteursThis hike is accessible with a dog, but we advise you to keep your dog on a leash throughout the entire route. This helps protect wildlife, preserve flora, and ensure the peace and quiet of other hikers and livestock along the route.
